Why do we need governments ?
We need governments to protect the rights of citizens and and to to protects the nation from foreign and domestic enemies and violence, provides services like post office, fire protection, state and local police, armed forces, and regulates things like interstate commerce and trade with other nations. Without government chaos will ensue since no one will have the exact laws and people may not be fair towards one another. Governments also provide and regulate all services such as electricity, water, welfare and healthcare.


What are their purpose?
Safety, law, regulations, economics, healthcare, welfare, social order, security, public services


  1. Define democracy. It is a form of government where the people vote for all officials.
  2. Define Republic. is the same as a democracy but not all people always vote. (all democracie are republics)

  4. Define constitutional monarchy. a constitutional monarchy is when a ruling family shares the power with elected officials whether elected by the family themselves or the people. AND THEY HAVE A CONSTITUTION.
